AH STUDIO | AQUAMARINE | # 1
January 2019
Aquamarine (from Latin: aqua marina, “sea water”,[11]) is a blue or cyan variety of beryl.
Through the lens of a single colour from Andrea Hamilton’s sea chroma colour system, Aquamarine, we explore the underlying structures and cultural reference points which determine how we see. By journeying into the monochrome, we travel back and forth in a colour of time, and discover how colours queue our emotions, our memory, our senses and provide us with unexpected and meaningful connections.
